PowerPoint: The Instructor / Curriculum Development Course

Course Description - This 3 day course of instruction is designed to assist law enforcement personnel involved in the detection, seizure and dismantling of indoor marijuana cultivation to recognize the safety hazards found in marijuana grow operations, and based upon the identified hazards, develop and implement a safety protocol for all personnel assigned to process the site for prosecution and dismantling.

Note: Students will need to provide their own laptop computers and have PowerPoint® software loaded. Any version (97 through 2010) will be required. It is recommended that students register for this course early, as this course is very popular and presented only once a year through the ATC.

Course Objectives - Students will gain effective communication skills, proven teaching methods and leadership fundamentals with an added emphasis on successfully using PowerPoint® software in the public safety classroom.
