(SACRAMENTO) – Attorney General Bill Lockyer issued the following statement on the creation of Commission for One California by Lt. Governor Cruz Bustamante:

"The Lieutenant Governor's Commission for One California is an important and welcomed addition to the campaign against prejudice, intolerance and hate. I agree with Lt. Governor Cruz Bustamante that we must promote an understanding of diversity and find common ground to fight hate crimes and the disease of hate."
