Course Description - This 3 day course of instruction is designed to assist law enforcement personnel involved in the detection, seizure and dismantling of indoor marijuana cultivation to recognize the safety hazards found in marijuana grow operations, and based upon the identified hazards, develop and implement a safety protocol for all personnel assigned to process the site for prosecution and dismantling.
NOTE: If available at the time of the course of instruction, the attendees will respond to an actual indoor marijuana grow site that has been seized by law enforcement to conduct actual assessment of the health hazards that may be present and develop an appropriate plan of action for safely dismantling the site.
Who Should Attend - All law enforcement personnel involved in Indoor Marijuana Grow investigations.
Course Objectives - Identification and recognition of potential health and safety hazards that may be present at indoor marijuana grow sites and the proper levels of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to address those levels of hazards are emphasized.
