SAN FRANCISCO --- 'These two men courageously battled a destructive fire and the people of the City and County of San Francisco and the State of California are grateful and humbled by the ultimate sacrifice they made to protect us,' Attorney General Harris said. 'My heartfelt sympathies go out to their families, the firefighters of Engine Company 26 and the entire extended family at the San Francisco Fire Department as they mourn this unthinkable loss.'
