Attorney General Reporting Portal for AB 495 CSPP/Licensed Child Daycare

Assembly Bill 495 (2025) requires licensed child daycare facilities to report any requests for information or access to the facility by an officer or employee of a law enforcement agency, for the purpose of immigration enforcement to (1) the California Department of Social Services and (2) the California Attorney General. It also allows, but does not require, license-exempt California state preschool program facilities to submit a report to (1) the California Department of Education and (2) the California Attorney General.

In this portal you can submit a report to the California Attorney General. After submitting the report, you can download a copy and there will be instructions about how you can send the copy of the report to the California Department of Social Services and/or the California Department of Education.

As you are providing information, please DO NOT provide any personal information of the staff, children in care, or their relatives and family members. Personal information includes an individual’s name, social security number, physical description, home address, home telephone number, education, financial matters, and medical or employment history.
