Class Description: 

This introductory 3-day (24-hour) course is designed to familiarize students with Photoshop and photo editing software in forensic applications, including the rules of evidence and safe, legal preservation of original images. Students will learn to set up a digital work flow, to catalog and organize case photos, size photographs and print 1:1 images, create panoramic photos of large scenes for court, and create PDF presentations of photographs for use in court. Class is limited to 12 students, who are provided with the use of laptops with Photoshop CS6 and images for exercises.

Tuition: 
No cost to POST supported or State of California based Law Enforcement agencies. A $360.00 tuition fee will be required of all other public agency, private sector, or out-of-state applicants.
