Ahead of Rallies Planned This Weekend in California, Attorney General Becerra Denounces White Supremacy, Stands Ready to Support Local Communities

SACRAMENTO- California Attorney General Xavier Becerra released the following statement in advance of rallies planned in Northern California over the weekend:

“There is no place for white supremacism and neo-Nazism in California or America. Hate, racism, and violence must be confronted and denounced unequivocally. When someone commits a crime motivated by hate, it is not just an attack on one innocent person, but an attack on all of us. At the California Department of Justice, we are prepared to deploy the necessary resources of the Department to work with our local and federal law enforcement partners in the investigation, pursuit and prosecution of the perpetrators of such deplorable crimes.”
