Attorney General Becerra and Assemblymember Nazarian Issue Statement Condemning Attacks on Armenian Community

SACRAMENTO – California Attorney General Xavier Becerra and California State Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian today issued the following statement condemning recent attacks on the Armenian community in San Francisco: 

“Our hearts and prayers go out to our brothers and sisters in the Armenian community as we work together to address what appear to be a series of violent attacks against them here in California,” said Attorney General Becerra and Assemblymember Nazarian. “Crimes motivated by hate have a corrosive effect on our society and cannot be tolerated. An attack on one of us is an attack on all of us. The California Department of Justice has reached out and stands ready to assist in the investigation of these crimes.”
