SACRAMENTO – California Attorney General Xavier Becerra issued the following statement ahead of memorial services this week for Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department Deputy Jason Garner and Community Service Officer Raschel Johnson, who were killed in the line of duty on May 12:

“On behalf of the California Department of Justice, I extend my deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Deputy Garner and Community Service Officer Johnson. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Stanislaus County Community as they mourn their passing and remember their lives.
