Attorney General Xavier Becerra Issues Statement on Death of Whittier Police Department Officer Keith Boyer

WHITTIER – Attorney General Xavier Becerra issued the following statement regarding the death of Whitter Police Department Officer Keith Boyer, who died in the line of duty today:

“It is with a heavy heart that the California Department of Justice and I extend our deepest condolences to the family, loved ones and colleagues of Whitter Police Department Officer Keith Boyer, who today died while serving those he was sworn to protect.  This morning’s senseless tragedy is a sad and solemn reminder of the daily dangers our peace officers face in service to their community and our state.  Officer Boyer’s bravery and courage will always be remembered, and his ultimate sacrifice in service of his community will never be forgotten.”
