(RIVERSIDE COUNTY) – On February 18, 2004, at approximately 10:00 PM, members of the California Department of Justice Inland Crackdown Allied (INCA) Task Force, the San Bernardino County West End Narcotic Enforcement Team (SBWESTNET) and uniformed officers from the California Highway Patrol served a search warrant at a residence located in the 28000 block of Reservoir Avenue in the unincorporated area of Riverside County known as Nuevo. The search warrant came as a result of a tip regarding possible narcotic activity at the location.

During the search of a barn on the property officers found 58 sacks containing approximately 2,800 pounds of marijuana with a street value of over $12 million.

The residents at the location, Tony Kott (age 53) and Kristy Kott (age 42), were arrested for possession of marijuana for sale and booked at the Riverside County Jail. The investigation is continuing to identify the source of the marijuana and other suspects involved.
