Attorney General Harris today issued the following statement on the death of Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputy Eugene Kostiuchenko:
“Today, the state of California lost another dedicated law enforcement officer in a senseless tragedy. My sympathies go out to Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputy Eugene Kostiuchenko’s family and loved ones, as well to as the members of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department. Deputy Kostiuchenko’s sacrifice and service will never be forgotten by the people of California.”
