Contracts and Purchasing Unit (CPU)

The CPU provides technical and analytical support in contracts used by the department including, but not limited to, expert witnesses, outside attorney services, law enforcement training, forensic services, and maintenance or repair of equipment.

The Department of Justice proposes to adopt sections 600, 601, 602, 603, 604, 605, 606, 607, 608, 609, 610, 611, 612, and 613 of Title 11, Division 1, Chapter 6 of the California Code of Regulations concerning the selection process for private architectural and engineering firms.

Status of the Proposal: This rulemaking is undergoing a 15-day public comment period. Any interested person or their authorized representative may submit written comments regarding the proposed regulatory action. The written comment period closes at 5:00pm on May 23, 2022.
