ALERT – E-mails Impersonating the Office of the California Attorney General

The California Department of Justice has received reports of recent e-mails impersonating "The Office of The State Attorney" that contain a suspicious link to a false complaint. Recipient should not click on the link nor should they respond to these scam emails at the risk of exposing their computer to malware or viruses.

Please note that all correspondence from the California Department of Justice will come from a "doj.ca.gov" mailbox. Recipients who receive suspicious emails should forward the emails to PIU@doj.ca.gov for confirmation of their source.
